- 4 pork chops (1/2 to 1-inch)
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1 small box Minute rice
- salt and pepper
- 1 clove garlic (optional)
Directions

1Flour pork chops and brown lightly in another skillet.

2Saute sliced onions until tender.

3Prepare rice according to box directions.

4Place chops in electric skillet or Dutch oven.

5Top chops with green pepper slices, sauteed onions, minced garlic and season to taste.

6Pile rice on top in pyramids.

7Dilute tomato sauce with equal parts of water and pour around the chops.

8Simmer slowly for 2 to 3 hours, basting occasionally.
