  • 4 to 5 pork chops
  • 3 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. onion soup mix
  • 2/3 c. rice
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Brown chops in small amount of shortening, then place in casserole dish. Add rice, water, salt and onion soup mix.

    Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350°. Do not lift foil until chops are done.
