Pork Chops With Stuffing

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 10 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sage
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. hot water
  • 6 pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions

    Saute together butter, onion and celery.

    Remove from heat. Combine onion and celery mixture in a bowl with bread crumbs, parsley flakes, salt, sage, pepper and hot water.

    Mix lightly. Spread mixture in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Season pork chops with salt and pepper and arrange on top of stuffing.

    Spoon soup over chops.

    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until chops are tender.
