Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 ponds lean ground pork
  • 1/4 tsp ground clove
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 large stalk celery chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 cups water
  • 4 large potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 2 packs refrigerated pie crusts (15 oz each)

Directions

    1) Combine all ingredients except potatoes and pie crusts in a large pot. Cover and simmer over med-low heat about 3 hours until water is gone.

    2) Boil potatoes until soft. Mash roughly and add to pork mixture. stir in well.

    3) add to pie in 9 inch pie pans

    4. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes
