- 2 c. Bisquick mix
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 slices white bread, cut into 36 pieces
- sugar
- oil (for frying)
Directions

1Heat oil or fat (2 to 3-inches) to 375° in deep fryer or kettle.

2Stir together Bisquick, milk, egg and vanilla until smooth.

3Dip bread in batter.

4Fry in hot oil or fat until golden brown, drain and roll in sugar.

5Serve hot or cold.

6Makes 3 dozen doughnuts.
