Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch kale
  • 1 large cabbage
  • 1 lb. stewed meat to taste
  • 1 lb. chourico, cubed
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 6 medium carrots
  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 c. split green peas
  • 1 Tbsp. salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped red pepper to taste
  • 1/2 pan water

Directions

    Boil first chourico that has been chopped, green split peas, stewed meat and tomatoes for about 1 hour.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    When all is tender, add 1 cup elbow macaroni.
