- 1 lb scallops (fresh, ocean scallops only!)
- 1 lime
- 5 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons dark sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons tamari, shoyu or 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- gingerroot
Directions

1Chop ginger and garlic coarsely.

2Heat a cast iron skillet.

3Add sesame oil.

4Let the oil heat and then add garlic and ginger.

5Once the garlic had caramelized, add scallops.

6Sprinkle with tamari and cook for 5 minutes.

7Squeeze a whole lime into the skillet and cook for one more minute.

8Serve immediately.

9It's very important not to overcook the scallops!
