- 3 to 4 lb. piece of beef
- 6 carrots
- 8 medium potatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 6 to 8 small cooking onions
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown beef in bacon grease on both sides.

2Add enough water to cover beef.

3Add chopped onion.

4Cover pan and cook for approximately 2 hours.

5Add carrots, onions and potatoes under beef and cook until tender.
