- potting roast
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- Bovril beef seasoning (3 Tbsp.)
Directions

1Wash meat, dry and then flour.

2Brown in small amount of hot oil.

3Remove oil and add water until the pot is 1/3 to 1/2 full. Add sliced onions and Bovril.

4Mix with cooking liquid.

5Cook at least 4 hours.

6Add more water as it evaporates (and more Bovril, if desired).

7May also add 1 cup red wine.
