  • 4 to 5 lb. roast
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 10 carrots
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1/4 c. flour

    Brown roast.

    Add onion soup.

    Cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours.

    Add carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper.

    Cover; cook 1 hour.

    Remove meat and vegetables.

    Thicken gravy with mixture of 1/4 cup flour and water.
