- 1 c. cooked potatoes
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 level tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 level tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- about 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Boil and mash the potatoes, having them free from lumps.

2Sift the flour, salt and baking powder;

3add the potatoes and cut in the shortening.

4Mix to a light dough with the egg and milk; roll out a little thinner than ordinary biscuit and bake in a hot oven. Serve as soon as done.
