- 2/3 c. Potato Buds
- 2/3 c. hot water or water from cooked potatoes
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Mix Potato Buds and hot water; let stand until water is absorbed.

3Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir into potato mixture.

4Stir in milk.

5Turn onto well floured surface.

6Pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness.

7Cut with 2-inch biscuit cutter.

8Place onto ungreased cookie sheet.

9Bake until golden brown.

10Makes 16 biscuits.
