  • 1 c. mashed potatoes
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast, that has been dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water that the potatoes had been cooked in

Directions

    Stiffen with 6 cups enriched flour.

    After first few cups flour, mix well.

    The last flour, knead in.

    Let raise until double in bulk.

    Then put buns in pan.

    Let raise to double in size.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.
