  • 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine (save some for top)
  • 10 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • bread crumbs

Directions

    Mix together all ingredients, except reserved margarine and bread crumbs.

    Put into well-greased casserole dish.

    Sprinkle top with crumbs.

    Add melted margarine.

    Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes in 350° oven.
