Potato Chowder

  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onion in 2 tablespoons butter.

    Add the diced potatoes. Cover with water and cook until tender.

    Add salt and pepper.

    Mash part of the potatoes.

    Add milk (2 cups).

    Cook on low heat for awhile, until thickened.

    Stir and watch carefully.
  8. 8
    Delicious with a nice piece of bread and salad for a supper.
