- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery, chopped
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 3 c. chopped raw potatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 1 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Fry bacon.

2Add celery and onion.

3Saute 5 minutes.

4Add thyme, potatoes, salt, pepper and enough water to cover potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are soft.

5Stir in hot milk and flour. Simmer 5 minutes.

6Can use leftover mashed potatoes instead of raw ones.
