Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 chopped carrot
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 stalk chopped celery
  • 2 c. chopped potatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    In a large pot, put 2 1/2 quarts of water.

    Add the carrot, onion and celery; bring to a boil.

    Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Add potatoes, salt and pepper.
  5. 5
    Cook until vegetables are tender.

    Add flour with a small amount of water to make a paste.

    Add a little of the hot liquid, mix and add to the soup to thicken it a little. Add the milk; bring back to a boil.

    Serve.
