- 6 potatoes (or 1 per person and adjust recipe)
- 6 eggs, hard-boiled
- 16 oz. sour cream
- butter
- 1/2 lb. bacon
Directions

1Boil potatoes and slice into rounds.

2Grease deep baking dish. Layer potatoes, then eggs, also sliced into rounds.

3Dot with butter and smooth on a layer of sour cream.

4(A small amount of milk added to the sour cream will make it easier to spread.) Continue to layer.

5Top off with bacon, uncooked and cut in half. Bake 3/4 hour or longer, if needed, at 350°.

6Can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
