  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns or 2 (12 oz.) pkg.
  • 1 c. diced onions
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1 large container sour cream
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 c. crushed potato chips or crushed corn flakes

Directions

    Thaw hash browns for 30 minutes.

    Mix in remaining ingredients except potato chips or corn flakes.

    Place in 9 x 13-inch greased casserole.

    Top with crushed potato chips or corn flakes.

    Bake at 375° for 1 hour.
