  • 3 lb. Red Tomatoes
  • 3 lb. Green Tomatoes
  • 1 Small Cabbage
  • 2 Bunches Celery
  • 1 qt. onions
  • 1/2 c. Salt
  • 3 pts. Vinegar
  • 2 lb. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. mixed Spices
  • 1/2 c. Mustard Seed
  • 2 Red Peppers

Directions

    Chop tomatoes and grind the rest of the ingredients.

    Let stand overnite, then drain; add 3 pints vinegar, 2 pounds of sugar, 2 tablespoons mixed spices tied in a bag, 1/2 cup mustard seed.

    Cook 2 hours then jar.
