  • 3 1/4 c. Swans Down cake flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks butter (soft)
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream shortening, butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.

    Add flour and milk alternately, ending with flour. Bake at 325° in greased and floured or sprayed tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
