- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 whole eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add one egg, slightly beaten.

3Add a little flour.

4Stir well.

5Continue in same manner until all eggs and flour have been added.

6Add vanilla; mix well.

7Mixture will be stiff.

8Pour into lightly greased tube pan or loaf pan.

9Bake 40 minutes at 375° or until cake is golden brown.
