Praline Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves French bread (24 oz.), cubed
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 4 large eggs, blended
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. melted butter

Directions

    In a large bowl, add first 6 ingredients and blend well.

    Saute the pecans in melted butter for 5 minutes.

    When cooled down, add to bread mixture.

    Place bread mixture in a lightly buttered (or spray oil) pan in a 9 x 12-inch oblong cake pan (metal or Corning Ware).

    Fill 3/4 full.

    Bake at 350° in preheated oven for one hour (individual souffle dishes optional).

    Serves 16.
