- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. scalded milk
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 1/3 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water.

2Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

3Into dry ingredients stir milk which has been cooled to lukewarm.

4Add egg into yeast and water mixture. Beat well.

5Turn onto floured surface and roll until 10 x 15-inches.

6Cream margarine and sugar.

7Spread over dough; sprinkle with nuts.

8Roll up, starting at 15-inch side; cut into 1-inch slices, then place on greased sheet and flatten.

9Sprinkle with nuts.

10Let rise 45 minutes.

11Bake at 425° for 10 to 12 minutes.
