  • 1 lb 93% lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans beef broth
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 12 cups salsa
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cored, seeded, and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder

Directions

    Over medium heat, cook beef, onion and garlic in a large saucepan until beef is browned.

    Drain off any remaining fat.

    Add beef broth, tomatoes, salsa, pasta, bell pepper, and chili powder.

    Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
