  • 1 c. raisins
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 whole eggs

    Cream oil and sugar.

    Add one egg at a time.

    Add buttermilk and soda.

    Sift cinnamon and flour.

    Add gradually, alternating with buttermilk.

    Fold in prune pulp.

    Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours at 300°.
