  • 1 lb. boneless sirloin (beef)
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seed, browned slightly in a skillet
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 small scallions, sliced
  • 1/2 c. sesame oil or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1/8 to 1/4 garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Place sirloin in the freezer until slightly frozen.

    Slice diagonally across the grain, paper thin.

    Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and pour over the meat.

    Marinate overnight. Put slices on a broiler pan.

    Broil 1 to 2 minutes; do not turn.
