- 1 pkg. spice cake mix
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 3 eggs, divided
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
- dash of salt
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Measure 2/3 cup dry cake mix and reserve.

2In bowl, microwave butter on High 1 minute.

3Add remaining cake mix and 1 egg.

4Blend well.

5Pat mixture into a greased 12 x 8-inch glass baking dish. Microwave on Medium-high 5 minutes.

6Rotate dish a half turn after 2 1/2 minutes.

7Combine reserved cake mix, pumpkin, sugar, 2 eggs, orange rind and salt; beat well.

8Pour cake batter over first layer.

9Sprinkle batter with pecans.

10Microwave at Medium-high for 4 minutes.

11Cover with wax paper.

12Cool before serving.

13Cut into squares.
