- 1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
- 2 large (8 oz. each) pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
- 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 2 eggs
- sweetened whipped cream
- pecan halves
Directions

1Mix together the crumbs, granulated sugar and butter.

2Press mixture over bottom and about 1-inch up the sides of 1 (9-inch) cheesecake pan with removable bottom.

3Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

4Cool on a rack.

5With an electric mixer, beat sugar until blended.

6Stir in pumpkin and pie spice.

7Add eggs and beat well.

8Pour filling into crust.

9Bake in a 350° oven until cheesecake barely jiggles in center when gently shaken, about 50 minutes.

10Cool on a rack.

11Remove pan sides; cover lightly and chill until cold, at least 3 hours or overnight.

12Garnish with whipped cream and pecans.

13Cut in wedges.
