  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 1 1/2 c. pumpkin
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1 1/2 envelopes gelatin in 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar, added to beaten egg whites
  • whipped cream
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. orange juice

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, pumpkin, milk, egg yolks, spices and orange juice; cook until mix thickens.

    Add gelatin to water and stir into hot mix.

    Add beaten egg whites to 2 tablespoons sugar. Fold in pumpkin mixture.

    Pour into baked pie shell.

    Cool and serve with whipped cream.
