  • 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin or 2 c. pumpkin
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla or 2 Tbsp. rum or brandy
  • 1 1/2 c. milk or half and half or evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. crushed walnuts or pecans

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Turn into baking dish.
