  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shell
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 (12 fl. oz.) can undiluted evaporated milk

    Prepare pie shell.

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Beat eggs lightly in large bowl.

    Stir in remaining ingredients in order given.

    Pour into pie shell.* Bake for 15 minutes at 400°.

    Reduce temperature to 350° and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool on wire rack.
