Pumpkin Pound Cake

- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. each of cinnamon and nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 15 oz. can of solid pack pumpkin
Directions

1Blend sugar and oil.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Combine dry ingredients and add to egg mixture alternately with the pumpkin.

4Transfer to a greased 12 cup fluted tube pan.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 60 - 65 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes.

6Remove pan and cool completely on a wire rack.

7Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
