- 9-inch pastry shell
- 1 lb. vegetable or 1/2 lb. meat
- 2 1/4 c. grated cheese (Swiss or Cheddar)
- 4 eggs
- 1 3/4 c. light cream
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Bake shell at 400° for 8 minutes.

2Cook meat or vegetable. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cheese on bottom of cooked pastry shell.

3Beat eggs and cream together and pour over cheese.

4Sprinkle top with meat or vegetable and remaining cheese.

5Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until set.
