- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (shell)
- 6 slices bacon
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. light cream or half and half
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- fresh ground black pepper
- few grains cayenne
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble into pie shell.

3Arrange Swiss cheese over bacon.

4Combine remaining ingredients and mix for at least 1 minute.

5Pour into pie shell.

6Bake on lowest rack for 15 minutes.

7Reduce heat to 325° and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
