  • 1 pie crust, unbaked
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, crisply fried
  • 1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/3 c. minced onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. light cream
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar (optional)
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions

    Sprinkle fried bacon, cheese and onion in a pastry shell. Beat eggs, cream, salt, sugar and pepper; pour in pie shell.

    Bake 15 minutes at 425°; then reduce heat to 300° and continue to bake another 30 minutes.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
