- 5 c. self-rising flour
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) sour cream
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- melted margarine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a large bowl combine flour and sugar.

3Add the sour cream and beer alternately; mix well.

4Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

5I divide mine into 2 loaves. Bake for 45 minutes; brush top with butter.

6Bake for 15 to 20 minutes more.

7Let cool slightly.

8Serve warm, cool or sliced and toasted.
