- 1 can refrigerated biscuit
- 3 cooking apples, peeled,cored & sliced
- 4 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (or apple schnapps)
- water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F.

2Mix together apple slices, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and melted butter.

3Separate biscuits and roll out individually into circles.

4Fill center of biscuits with apple mixture and fold dough over into half moon shape.

5Crimp edges with fork.

6Bake on ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown, about 15 minutes, serve warm.

7Combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and enough water to make a glaze (start small).

8Drizzle over turnovers.
