Quick Butterscotch Sauce

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels
  • 2/3 c. heavy or whipping cream
  • chopped nuts (optional)

    In small heavy gauge saucepan, combine butterscotch morsels and heavy cream.

    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.

    Cool slightly.

    Serve warm over ice cream or other desserts; top with nuts.

    Refrigerate leftover sauce.
