  • 2 1/2 lb. fryer
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 2 c. chicken broth

Directions

    Cook and take chicken off bone.

    Reserve 2 cups broth.

    Cut chicken into pieces and place in bottom of baking dish.

    Melt margarine and pour over chicken.

    Mix together dry ingredients and mix well with milk.

    Pour over chicken.

    Heat soup and broth to the boiling point and pour over all.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Makes its own crust.
