  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

    Mix oleo, shortening, cocoa and hot water and bring to a boil. Then

    pour over rest of ingredients that have been mixed together.

    Mix all ingredients well.

    Bake in long flat greased and floured pan for 20 minutes at 400°.
