  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tsp. baking powder or 1 tsp. if you use self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 (20 oz.) can fruit

Directions

    Put butter in 9 x 12-inch baking pan and melt the butter in the oven.

    Mix the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder with milk to make a thin batter.

    Put batter in pan of butter.

    Put fruit on top of batter.

    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in oven at 350° to 400°.
