- 1 box yellow cake mix or lemon cake mix
- 1 box vanilla instant pudding
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. Crisco oil
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring (if you want)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Mix the first 7 ingredients at medium speed.

2Combine the remaining ingredients.

3Put 1/3 of the sugar mixture in bottom of greased 9 x 13-inch pan, then put half of the batter on top of that, then another 1/3 of sugar mixture.

4Next, put rest of batter on that.

5Top with last 1/3 sugar mixture.

6Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
