  • 4 to 6 sliced fresh peaches
  • sugar
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • 1 c. self-rising flour or flour and baking powder
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

    Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over peaches.

    Toss to mix.

    Place in a shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Mix sugar, flour and egg to a crumb-like texture.

    Pour over peaches.

    Melt margarine and drizzle over crumb topping.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until top turns slightly brown and crusty.
