Quick Yeast Rolls

- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
Directions

1Mix 2 cups flour and yeast with a wooden spoon.

2In saucepan, cook milk, butter and molasses (can use 1/4 cup sugar instead) until butter melts (not boiling).

3Pour over mixture.

4Add egg, beat at low speed for 3 minutes.

5Beat 3 minutes at high speed. Remove from mixer and gradually stir in 1 1/4 cups flour.

6Beat with wooden spoon until smooth.

7Cover and let rise 1 hour.

8Beat again 5 minutes.

9Let raise 30 minutes or twice its size.

10Makes 20 rolls.

11Bake at 400° for 12 minutes.
