"Quickie" Fruit Cake

  • 1 box Betty Crocker carrot cake mix
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. applesauce
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. pitted dates
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. mixed candied fruit

Directions

    Disregard instructions on cake package.

    Spray a Bundt pan with Pam and dust lightly with flour.

    Mix all ingredients together and pour into prepared pan.

    Bake at 350° until inserted toothpick comes out clean, approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

    Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream, if desired.
