- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. King syrup
- 1/4 lb. butter or margarine
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 2 level tsp. baking powder
- 1 level tsp. salt
- 2 lb. seedless raisins
Directions

1Mix eggs, sugar, syrup and melted butter or margarine together.

2Sift flour, allspice, baking powder and salt together in mixture.

3Batter will be kind of stiff.

4Add a box of raisins, one at a time, and mix well.

5Use a 9-inch spout pan.

6Line bottom of pan with paper and grease well.

7Cook in heated oven at 250° for 2 hours and 35 to 40 minutes.
