  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 c. flour
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. salt

    Bran, buttermilk, oil, sugar and eggs. Mix

    together flour, soda and salt, then add to buttermilk mixture.

    Refrigerate

    for 6 hours.

    Mixture keeps for 6 weeks in refrigerator.

    Bake in lined muffin tins at 375° for 15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
