- 2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
- pastry for 9-inch 2-crust pie
Directions

1Prepare pastry.

2Heat raisins and water to boiling; boil for 5 minutes.

3Stir sugar and flour into raisin mixture.

4Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.

5Boil and stir 1 minute.

6Remove from heat.

7Stir in nuts, lemon peel and lemon juice.

8Pour filling into pie crust.

9Cover with top crust, which has slits cut in it.

10Seal and flute.

11Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits.
