- 1 c. flour
- 3/4 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. soft oleo
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 c. red raspberry preserves
- 1/3 c. sliced almonds
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Line 8 or 9-inch square pan with foil. Lightly grease foil.

3Mix flour, oats and sugar in large bowl.

4Cut oleo into mixture until you have coarse crumbs.

5Stir in extract until well blended.

6Reserve about 1 cup oat mixture.

7Press remainder evenly in bottom of pan.

8Spread preserves on top, about 1/2 inch from edges.

9Mix almonds with reserved oat mixture. Sprinkle over preserves, then press down gently.

10Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are golden.

11Cool in pan on rack.

12Lift foil by ends to cutting board.

13Cut into bars.
